MOMENTUMAsk. Answer. Act.

Take charge of AI.

Everyone in your organisation has a view on AI: fears, doubts, ideas, demands. MOMENTUM collects every question, answers each one with the department that owns it, and turns the noise into a plan of manageable actions. An AI Learning Needs Analysis that people take part in, not one that is done to them.

Every department, every question, one plan · Fixed price from CHF 7,500

We need to get on top of AI. Everyone is talking about it. Everyone has their fears, their concerns, their suggestions on what AI can and cannot do.

Why organisations stall

AI doesn't have one owner. It has six, and they don't agree.

Legal

"Nothing goes live until we know it's compliant."

Finance

"Show me the cost before anyone signs a licence."

IT

"Who gets access, to what data, and what do we do first?"

Business

"Our competitors are already using it. Let us experiment."

HR

"Everyone wants training. Nobody can say what kind."

Everyone

"Will I lose my job? Will I ever work the same way again?"

These conversations are already happening in your corridors. The only choice is whether you hear them. AI is different from every other change. It doesn't just alter tasks and processes, it questions how people work at all. When these voices compete, organisations freeze: pilots don't scale, benefits don't show up, and people quietly decide AI is something being done to them. MOMENTUM gives every voice a safe, constructive place at the same table.

How it works

Three steps from AI paralysis to AI progress

The method is simple: Asked & Answered. Every answer is signposted back to the question your people actually asked, so everyone can see where it came from.

01

Ask.

Weeks 1–2
  • Kick-off with your sponsor: goals, scope, sensitivities, and informing employee representatives
  • A short anonymous survey for all staff, in your own Microsoft Forms
  • Open questions: what people want to learn, what worries them, what would make it useful
  • Invite and reminder templates for your sponsor, aiming for 40%+ response
Every question, fear and idea, in people's own words
02

Answer.

Weeks 3–4
  • Every response clustered by theme and by the department that owns the answer
  • Plain answers, each signposted to the questions that raised it, drafted with the owning department and signed off by it
  • A present-back to your leadership team: what people asked, what it means, where to start
Leadership sees the whole picture, without spin
03

Act.

Weeks 5–6
  • Facilitated handoffs with each owning department: Legal, IT, Finance, HR and the business
  • Each leaves with a short list of manageable actions and a named owner
  • A "You asked, here's what we're doing" summary for all staff
An organisation-wide AI plan people recognise as theirs

A manageable action has one owner, a first step within two weeks, and fits within existing budget.

Why it works

Constructive, because nothing is done to people

It starts with their questions

Not with a tool rollout or a policy. Basic questions ("what is a token?", "is our data used for training?") are treated as seriously as strategic ones.

Every answer shows where it came from

Signposting each answer back to the questions asked builds trust. People see they were heard, not managed.

Resistance becomes something you can work on

Concerns about data protection, jobs or cost stop being corridor talk and become clear items with an owner.

A neutral facilitator at the table

Legal, Finance, IT, HR and the business work through their part with someone who has no stake in who "wins". The conversation stays safe and moves forward.

Is this for you?

Built for organisations that have started, but aren't moving together

  • You are piloting AI, but don't know how to bring the whole organisation along
  • Your pilots are not delivering the benefits you expected
  • Competitors seem to be getting results and you feel you should be doing more
  • Several departments own a piece of AI and pull in different directions
  • You want to do right by your employees and your customers, not just buy licences
  • HR has been asked for "AI training" without knowing what people actually need
What you get

More than a survey: answers and actions per department

Anyone can send a survey. The value is what happens next: a neutral facilitator turns every question into an answer and an action the owning department has agreed to. Each department gets a one-page card like this.

Illustrative example based on typical questions. A full anonymised sample report is available on request.

You asked
  • "Is our data used to train the AI?"
  • "What am I allowed to put into Copilot?"
  • "Who checks the results before they go out?"
Our answer

Our licensed tool does not train on company data. Confidential and patient or customer data stay out until a clear rule is published.

Our one condition: your sponsor attends the leadership present-back and names an owner for every department before we close. Asking people and then not acting does more harm than not asking, so we build the action in from the start.

FAQ

Questions leaders ask first

Is the survey really anonymous?

Yes. It runs in your own Microsoft Forms (or a tool you choose) with anonymous responses. Results are reported by theme, never by person, and no group with fewer than 5 respondents is ever reported separately.

How is the survey data handled, and is AI used?

Responses stay in your own Microsoft 365 tenant wherever possible. If AI helps cluster the answers, it is a business-grade service that does not train on your data, covered by a data processing agreement and agreed with you at kick-off. Raw responses are deleted 90 days after the project unless you ask us to keep them. Everything follows the Swiss FADP and, where relevant, the GDPR.

How much time does it take from our people?

About 5 minutes for the survey. Leadership spends around 3 hours across kick-off and present-back. Each department handoff takes 60 to 90 minutes.

We already have an AI pilot or policy. Is this still useful?

Especially then. MOMENTUM shows whether people understand and trust what is already in place, and where the pilot needs support to deliver its benefits.

Is this just a training needs analysis for HR?

It includes one, but goes further. Learning needs are one output. The others are the decisions Legal, IT, Finance and the business need to make, with owners.

What happens afterwards?

Many organisations carry on with the action plan themselves. Others add hands-on AI workshops for teams, or ongoing facilitation for the departments involved. You decide, with no obligation.

Who runs it?

David Howes, founder of facilit8, based in Thalwil. He has led more than 100 change and transformation projects across life sciences, consumer and industrial companies, and works in English and German. To protect quality, MOMENTUM runs for no more than two organisations at a time.
